Nice place to meet a friend for an expensive green tea. Friendly staff, delicious tea, and really uncomfortable seating. Meet a friend, enjoy a delicious beverage, but don't stay too long!

Big Easy iced tea (green tea, pineapple cake, caramel beignet, lemon peel) was so refreshing in the 103 degree heat. (Respect, Sacramento. This Bay Area girl could barely even walk the half block from the car without breaking into a serious sweat ) Lovely airy (and air-conditioned!) and brick space for serious coffee drinkers and even offers soundproof booths for your WFH Zoom calls.

Located right off Broadway- Mast Coffee is a hidden gem! This is definitely more for "coffee" people, but if that's you I would recommend this spot. It's got a bit of a hipster millennial vibe, with exposed brick and lots of neutral colors. I tried their olive oil rosemary latte, and had to come back for it - I'm not a hot coffee person, but for this I made an exception . The flavor is great, and even with oat-milk it's still frothy and creamy. The breakfast tartine is a MUST order. Arugula, mortadella, egg, and onion/mushroom topping on a thick piece of bread. Parking is a bit of a challenge (but welcome to downtown), and they have indoor/outdoor seating but it's limited and not the most comfortable... A fun spot to walk too if you're in the area. I'll definitely be back!

I have been searching for good breakfast sandwich options since Ginger Elizabeth discontinued theirs. Camella is the best to me; V.Miller is good, but only offered at limited times; Tupi is also good. I think we have a new contender. Today, I tried their latest rotating breakfast sandwich "005" : Broche bun, Spanish Tortilla (baked egg, potato, and onion), romesco, confit garlic mayo, manchego, jamon serrano, and dressed argula. Great sandwich, highly recommended. I also tried their maple mocha, also delicious. Not too sweet, a great refreshment.
